An experiment.edit: I know the full-view is huge. I intended it to be so. There is nothing on the full-view that you can't see in the small view - so nothing is taken away or detracted from the impact of the image. The small-view shows a pair of lips from an unusual angle with unusual lighting.. the full-view shows shimmering blurs of light, texture and depth which, when put together.. make up the shapes and curves of a pair of lips. I didn't intend for the fullview to represent the image.. I just found it interesting to see the patterns and strange shapes which make up the image.

You may have overexplained this a bit; I think most people will appreciate it easily enough. Macroscopic patterns are a world of beauty in themselves.

Awesome. The lighting on this and the soft effect on the lips is great. Then the texture of the skin around the lips is clear and sharp. An excellent photo to show everything beautiful about skin without a lot of distraction or any need for the rest of the body. Once again...awesome

i dont mind the size - it actually gives the image that much more of an impact.
i can see that i true super sharp macro lens would help greatly just in lifting that last little bit of extra detail out of the shot, but the softness does give it a far more sensual look.
all in all a very beautiful shot!

Ahh.. yes. Well, when I can afford a DSLR I'll have all the pretty lenses in the world..

Full view a little too big?
Or am I the only one who feels that way?
I love how this looks like it belongs in an old black and white movie where they dont have an honest sex scene like they do now but rather they zoom in on the woman's mouth, and then the man's eyes and the grip of their hands interwined later on. Your images always spur the strangest thoughts.

Wow, zoomed in to the point of abstraction. Very interesting. The fullview is a bit too big and therefore blurry, but I think the photo is solid. And quite an original border. Well done.

Cheers. I kept the resolution super-high because if reduced, it'd loose some of it's clarity.. And yeah, the border is a new experiment. Thanks for the comment.
