Another night, and another vision.

By this time, Miikka had been used to having them. He’d better, seeing as he’d had them for about six years now. However, this one frightened him more than any of them. Most of his visions had a hint of hope to them. This one, though, had a deep air of gloom about it. There was no way that he could prevent the cathedral from being destroyed. There was no way he could stop the large number of people in the building from being injured, or worse. And, there was no way that he could console all of those who lost someone. That included one of his best friends.

He hated visions like that, and was glad that he very rarely had visions that bad. In fact, there was only one other time he had a vision that he knew he couldn’t prevent.

It was after he’d transformed in to Phoebus the first time, but before he left for school and the hockey season. He had the same dream over and over. It wasn’t necessarily what was happening. He was facing two people, one who called himself The Golden Soldier and other one called herself The Silver Soldier. He knew they were trouble. He could sense that they had been causing a lot of problems, and were working to destroy the planet.

Or, at least Youngstown.

He’d been used to working alone, and wasn’t shocked that he was there. However, there were four other people with him.

Three of them were male, and wore outfits like the one he wore, which were loosely based off of hockey uniforms. The only differences were the jersey numbers, and the jersey designs. But then, there was a girl. Along with that, the girl wasn’t wearing the same outfit as they were. She was wearing a leotard, a very short skirt, and some sort of sailor collar. She also seemed to be the angriest out of the bunch, and was constantly threatening to beat people up with the ball and chain flail in her hands.

It was weird. They seemed to be more than five people going after the same goal, which was to destroy the enemies. But, they all seemed to be close to him. They were more than just random people. They were teammates. They were friends.

He would realize, shortly after his first practice for the upcoming season started, why the four people seemed so familiar. They were, literally, his teammates. They were all rookies that year, and that meant Miikka looked at them as His Rookies. And, most importantly, they ended up being his friends.

That was, he figured, probably why he knew he couldn’t change that vision. He’d had them long enough to know that most of his visions were glimpses of an alternate reality. They indicated what could happen if something wasn’t stopped. However, that first vision of him, Misae, the twins, and Viktor fighting together was one of destiny. His gut told him that there was nothing he could do to prevent that from happening. And, he was now having the same feeling about the vision he’d just had.
