The story! While in Cades Cove we saw 907986 deer everywhere. One young buck was picking in the field on the right side of the road. Spooked by cars, he ran across the road and into the woods. "Damn!" thought we, "He's gone!" But no! He suddenly appeared again, dashed out of the woods and flew by our car. I hastily snapped a picture as he ran by, and by sheer luck, it focused. Perhaps if I'd had it on a moving objects setting his legs wouldn't be blurry, but I was only there to take pictures of scenery and not running animals. Still, score!
