Description But those who came (or will come) into heaven, made (or making) this:

The Bishop of Limoges, France had all Jews who would not convert to Christianity killed or banished in 1010.

Botched doomsday prophecies! When the world did not end in the year 1000, Christian prophets explained that they had forgotten to add in the length of Jesus' life and predicted the end of the world in 1033. The writings of the Burgundian monk Radulfus Glaber described a rash of mass hysterias during the period from 1000-1033.

Gregory I became Pope in 1073. He declared the catholic church as ruler of the world, that no king could be crowned other than by the Popes, and no property titles were valid unless blessed by the church. Gregory I Incited the Normans to wage war against Henry IV. Gregory I was made a saint after his death.

Urban II became Pope in 1088 and convened the council at Clermont in Auvergne/France regarding the "imprisonment" of Jerusalem. To start building his army, Urban II recruited Christian robbers to join in the rescue of Jerusalem by promising they could keep any wealth they stole from the Saracens.

"Let those who have hitherto been robbers now become soldiers."
- Urban II addresses his gangsters.
The First Crusade to "rescue" the holy lands began on command of Pope Urban II in 1095.
Crusaders slew thousands of non-Christians at Wieselburg, 6/12/1096.

Crusaders slew thousands of non-Christians at Semlin, 6/24/1096.

Crusaders slew thousands of non-Christians at Nikaia, Xerigordon, from 9/9/1096 to 9/26/1096.

40 cities and over 200 castles were sacked by the crusaders between 1095 and 1098. Jews living in Worms were killed in 5/18/1096, 1100 Jews were killed in Mainz 5/27/1096, Cologne, Neuss, Altenahr, Wevelinghoven, Xanten, Moers, Dortmund, Kerpen, Trier, Metz, Regensburg, & Prag.

Antiochia was conquered, and 50,000 killed, 6/3/1098. According to Christian chronicler Fulcher of Chartres, the crusaders ran their lances through the bellies of all the women they found.

Maraat An-Numan was captured and thousands killed on 12/11/1098. According to Chronicler Albert Aquensis, the Christian conquerors engaged in acts of cannibalism.

"A curse on him who is lax in doing the LORD's work! A curse on him who keeps his sword from bloodshed!" -- Jeremiah 48:10, Motto of Pope
Gregory VII.

You know, if hell is a place full of people who don't believe in just a belief, the lgbt+ community, people who sinned (Having sex on Sunday, drinking, disobeying their parents, shaved their beards and cut their hair and such) Hell actually sounds really cool. I wont mind the heat.

i hate how people use that a scare tactic to get others into their religion lmao.
I think the most respectful religion out there is Buddism and Hinduism. Like instead of telling people what they can't and cannot do and having constant wars about which god is better than who, let's just meditate and chill and watch netflix. XD

I agree with you about buddhism (but I don'tsee it as a religion, really. More as a (lifestyle) philosophy), about hindusm I don't know enough.

GYAAKUTEN In reply to lisa-im-laerm [2016-01-25 22:52:08 +0000 UTC]

You're right on that one, I see it as a philosophy as well, sorry about calling it a religion since it's believing in something superior.
Hinduism (What is consider to be a abomination to Christians wow.) is a polytheistic religion,it's the principal religious tradition of India, characterized by the worship of many gods, a belief in reincarnation, and the concept of karma, or the cumulative effect of all of one's actions.
Even though I don't believe in a god like that, I do believe in the concept of karma. I guess I respect it because they believe all religions have a truth behind them and pretty much the same thing but different concept, they don't see other religions as different or "Blasphemous" but just see it as another name but a same road down. Hindusim also is related of Buddhism since there is some comparison.

Nothing to be sorry about, dude! Many buddhists would disagree with me on that point, I know that I put buddhism also out of my critiszm.
Yep, I knew that about hinduism and I read old stuff from hindustic works, is the gilgamesh epos hinduistic?
It is nice, but still I would say, I don't know enough about it.

I can imagine, that something like Karma really is existing, in a very complex way and we can't see completly through it. But even in simple actions, like acting bad to a person, normally causes bad reactions, it makes also sense!
Not like these monotheistic religions, that make not only no sense, they are even unjust as it can be

GYAAKUTEN In reply to lisa-im-laerm [2016-01-26 20:34:22 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Hinduism does sound nice too, I don't know much about it either but the basic construction of it since I use to have a teacher back in 9th grade that was Hindu but some other teachers didn't like her belief sadly as it was.

And Karma, yes is most likely to exist due to a lot of experiences me, you and other people most likely had at least once in their lives.

I hate how people say that " God is gonna get you for lying" or "He's gonna strike you hard" I been waiting for years for me to get smite on. Nothing happen. Monotheistic religions is just one big bluff to me. :/

I know I might get laughed or even downed by saying this since a lot of people did to me before, but I actually do believe in a spiritual plane, almost like a limbo. There's no heaven or hell. We're just there floating in peace in a separate realm with other beings. I believe the Bible is just there for moral purposes but it highly contradicts it's self which makes it cringe worthy.

The Hindus, I knew never tried to convert people into their religion also, not even a little bit. That makes them look good to me, too!

Well, let me summarize: The character of Barney was in an argument with his friend Ted, so he decided to give him a "thumbs up" But then the narration confirmed "kids, that was not a thumbs up."

I'll let you fill in the blanks.

ahaha  This reminds me of a conversation with my mom, she was the character yelling and I was as non- pulsed as the character give the thumbs up "ok, whatever..."

I remember one day when I was about 17-18, I was busy reading when out of the blue my mother blurted out "You know, if you don't believe in God then you're going to Hell."

My reply= "No I'm not. Since I don't believe in God I don't believe in hell either."

Mom= "What do you think is going to happen to you when you die?"

Me= "I'm going to become a ghost and haunt the boy's locker rooms."

Mom had no reply to that.
