The Dark Master himself has risen, Reignited through the powers of... a mortal human girl drawing on an IPad?I’ve Reignited the big baddie of the TLoS universe and LOOK AT HIM! I based most of Malefor’s design on his TLoS version, but was heavily influenced by both of his Skylanders forms. His Wings, Tail spike, underscales, and bracelets were ripped straight from Skylanders Academy. The armor around his neck was inspired by Malefor’s Canon Skylanders appearance from the IDW comics. Also, was anyone else a tad bit annoyed that in Skylanders Academy Cynder was Purple (like in the Skylanders games and DotD) And Malefor was Black? They should really swap the colors, or at least make Malefor Purple. He’s always been ‘the First Purple Dragon’ and Cynder has always been ‘the Black Dragoness.’

Ahahaha! Here's Mally! I like how you combine the incarnations design tidbits.
So, maybe the "first purple dragon, born every 10 gens" term won't be used, but the multiple elements thing could work, maybe even work like Avatar. I was thinking depending on the region, they'll be born with their element of the homeworld already unlocked, but will unlock more elements later on in life. For example, Spyro is a purple Artisan, so he was born with the Fire element but will unlock more elements, Halvor is a purple Peace Keeper, first element is Earth but eventually breathed other elements, etc.
And they could still be rare. Of the many dragons in the Dragon Realms, there’s only 15 purple dragons seen, which could hint their rarity. I think Purple dragons are more common in Artisans, Peace Keepers and Dream Weavers.

Well since there are multiple still living purple dragons in the classic Spyro trikogy, the first purple dragon lore probably won’t be used.
