Here's my latest digital painting. I wanted to represent how things in life that are beautiful and wonderful are often fleeting and hard to hold onto. The hummingbirds and butterflies symbolize this. I wanted the woman to have a look of hope. She illustrates the belief that catching the beauty in life is possible.

This was painted in Photoshop. I worked on it one off and on for about 2 weeks. I tried soooo hard to get it "perfect" but I can still see quite a few flaws. Ah well. I'm ready for my next painting, so fixing the flaws here will have to wait.
