I'm having a late-night trawl through the accounts of both friends and strangers over here, and I have to say, I think this is still one of the most beautiful drawings you've ever done <3 I can't seem to picture her any other way, even when I'm reading the graphic novels and have the official artists' renderings right there...

Delirium is such an interesting character. I loved painting her, because it felt like discovering past pieces of her. The challenge was to keep a little of Delight in her, I think.

The image that's your avatar, by the way - I know it's Hetalia's Norway, but I did a double-take the first time I saw it, because it looks so much like the way I picture Uriel (if the hair were shorter and edgier). Which is not such a stretch, probably, since she's in the background of one of the Mending illustrations *just enough*, but not in *too much* detail

Now that you mention it, it *does* look like her. I remember picturing her vary androgynous when I did that illo for you, and this one does fit the bill. Heh, now I will never be able to un-see it again.

I think it's the way you shaped the face of her figure standing in the doorway behind Raphael patching up Crowley; her features are indistinct since the focus is not on her, but the shape of the face is so very similar to the shape of Norway's face, so it's very easy to slide the features into place, somehow (but you know I see ghosts and shadows everywhere; these characters turned up and just never went away....)

XD Delirium is my favorite. Probably because...well, she's awesome, for one. But for another, I always love characters with my eye color (one green, one blue). It's rare to see a fictional character like that =]

I once had a classmate who had one green eye and one blue. They were beautiful - nothing like I'd ever seen. Too bad she mostly looked downwards, as if she was shy about them.

I like this picture very much- other fanart stress the point of her colorful hair, and though that's all good and true, this portrayal is fantastic! Looks like she's in between Delight and Delirium (but I'm no expert, so...).

This is gorgeous. Definitely one of the best portraits of Delirium that I've ever seen. You really capture the usually-unseen tragedy of her transformation without forgoing the whimsy -- I love the little goldfish and the flower.
