Stephen King's infamous advice to writers, although he was quoting something else.  And no, he didn't mean literally "kill your darlings." He meant that, when creating a story and characters, you have to be willing to force them to face their worst obstacles, be it death, or fates worse than.  In other words, you have to be willing to make them suffer, sometimes horrifically.

I love your explanation though here I meant the movie acted by Dane Dehaan and Danial Redcliffe. It was coming from Allen Ginsberg's poem. But I really love what you said. It is brilliant!
