Finally finished this piece that I had started in September of last year!

SG Xenaut isn't great at controlling his field. SG Verve isn't great at letting down their walls.

The context of this scene is that Verve isn't satisfied with Xenaut's stealth abilities, especially that of EM field control. They attempted to try and teach him how to control his field, but this required that they show by example. Relaxing their own field isn't something they'd done in a long time, and they were unprepared to meet his wild field head on. They aren't even used to confronting their own emotions, and facing Xenaut's leaves them overwhelmed.

Shattered Glass Verve has a thing about control, and loosing control of the situation like this is terrifying for them. Even being terrified at all isn't something they know how to deal with. They don't *do* that. Fear.
