Description I recently finished rereading Wuthering Heights, and wanted to do some drawings of the characters. So, here it is. Left to right is Catherine (the first), Isabella, Linton, an unintentionally dreamboaty Heathcliff, an unintentionally gooberish Edgar, Hareton (FTW) and Catherine (the second). I haven't really been feeling too inspired for a while now so it was nice to finally put something together.

Also, kudos to for her magical brushes ([link] ), which I fiddled around with in the process.

Wuthering Heights belong to Emily Bronte. Many thanks, miss.

Also, if you don't get the title of this, you need to spend a few minutes watching this: [link] You won't regret it. Or...maybe you will...

Very nice! You make some of them look far better than they deserve. What a bunch of screwed up people! Except for the 2nd generation, they'll get it right. Oh, Kate Bush.

I bet Kate Bush wishes she were Cathy.

But she is! I saw her prancing and waving about in the field in that red dress. If that's not Cathy I don't know what is!

You made Hareton so....

Lovely job. I love how Catherine I and Hareton came out.

Thanks very much! I'm a little biased in Hareton's favor, I can't help myself

He's just so adorable. I mean, he gets the short end of the stick every time, and he really does nothing to deserve it...

True! But it all works out for him in the end

Yay! Wuthering Heights is one of my all-time favorites books ever and I love the song and that is my favorite part of it!

Also, why can't Heathcliff be dreamy-boaty?

Oh, I just don't picture him that way. Not that I think he's UNattractive, but just not overwhelmingly handsome or anything like that.

True. I think I just picture Heathcliff played by Ralph Fiennes in the '92 movie...

Hah, yeah, he was a pretty good Heathcliff (and pretty dreamboaty too, hah). I'm partial to the 1998 Masterpiece version myself, he's closer to my own mental picture of Heathcliff.

You do! There are so many versions, it fun to see how they differ.
