Wow, he is done! Kamau, the giant backyard warrior squirrel! An idea from talented Darren Strecker , that i transformed into a posable doll!

Kamau has many cool accessories and features! He is fully poseable and can stay in any position, his mouth opens and closes for the ultimate growling-look! Kamau is, like most of his accessories hand sewn, the hard parts were sculpted, casted in resin and also hand painted with acrylic colors. A glossy varnish protects the color from damage and gives it a nice shine.

The pants can be taken off (it was us not allowed to take his clothes off in public so there are no artistic nude pictures) the shirt can't be - the head is to big.. Kamau's weapons are a - for warrior squirrel paws anatomically correct - perfect fitting combat knife and 3 acorn-hand grenades. Of course they make a big BOOM!

His kneepads are made of baby turtle shells (sculpted and casted in resin), his bracelet is decorated with a (sculpted OOAK) dead mouse. The backpack is also acorn-shaped and can be filled with nice things. Also a necklace with a sculpted and resin casted coyote claw and high quality stone beads and a pair of bracelets for his arms come with him. Handmade dreads and hand painted wooden beads round his haircut up!

Of course has Kamau a heart! Like my other dolls, also Kamau has a felt-heart sewn into his chest. Because without heart, you can't have a soul.
About the name "Kamau": It is an African Kenyan name meaning "quiet warrior."

It took me a while finishing him, but i'm super proud and i had so much fun! I learned a lot during the progress of Kamau and could let the inner child out of me!
