wow... haven't submitted anything in quite a while... OTL
So i went to see rebellion back in December admist all my finals (genius right?), had a ton of inspiration for new drawings... just haven't finished them -_-
REALLY hope this isn't spoiler-ish.... but yea... if you've seen the movie, i hope you know what i'm trying to get at with this pic.... (probably should've drawn homura as the glass shattering...but too lazy :3)
and something i've noticed while creating this: I must have THE MOST inconsistent style ever... totally different from the other pictures I've drawn before... ._.

Pretty much any given scene from that movie gives me hard feels, too, as well as hard thinks. Heck, just listening to the soundtrack is enough to give me heartache. Except Absolute Configuration, aka The Gun Fight, THAT'S pure audio adrenaline. After my brain un-melted, which took weeks, I'd say it's tied for my favorite movie I saw last year, with The Lego Movie (for very different reasons...though that gives me the feels, and the thinks, too).
As for the art? I like it. Simple at first glance, but very symbolic...and both of those are so very Madoka-appropriate.

yes!! It was so amazing! The ending was a bit of a shock, but I really loved Akuma Homura...

I think I was so shocked, I didn't really like Akuma Homura...but then after the ending sunk in, it kinda hurts every time I remember the ending (oh the feels LOL) and I find myself really liking the new Homura (i want to draw more homura fanart

Yes, the ending was a bit of a surprise. I didn't think it was really out of character, but in a way it was a bit ott.
You should definitely draw some Akuma Homura fanart!

yea, I mean I can understand how she would eventually spiral down into that kind of mindset but I guess it just seemed too sudden.... since the rest of the movie, she seemed fine. Obviously she was suffering but it didn't seem like she broke in any way.
I have a few ideas, i just haven't drawn them out yet (can't seem to get the right feeling :S)
