I participated in this year's GISHWHES (the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen), one of the many brainchildren of Misha Collins, and it was... it was a total wreck, but more fun than I've had in a long, long time. It was a fucking ball.Anyway, one of the items was a drawing of Miss Jean Louis (Misha Collins' handler) riding a school bus like a horse as it flies into a volcano. This was my contribution, and it turned out pretty good! Photos of Miss Louis are incredibly hard to find, but I think I found a nice one. She just looks like a weird bird, but I would accept nothing less from the woman who has to babysit Misha Collins.

I think my school's band did this. A friend had to leave our irregularly scheduled late night nonsense to take part. We kept making her say GISHWES while she was looking for her shoes. Haha. But now that I know this was Misha Collins related, my one regret is not tagging along somehow. Happy it was fun though

Yes! That was amazing, I tried to get that one, but to no avail.
I think my team got some of the 100+ point ones, but I can't be sure until the results are released.

My team was out of this friggin' WORLD, I gotta say. My coworker jumped out of a plane for me, and my teammates got things like the pumpkin catapult, our team on a news segment, a girl sitting lotus with live snakes... I don't expect to win by any means, but if we DO, I won't be shocked out of my socks.

That's so awesome! I'm gonna be an absolute fangirl (which I don't think I've done before for you, but I dunno) and say that I adore you. Like, a LOT. I saw your art for Catapult years back, and have been keeping up with what you post since, and when I saw that you were participating in GISHWHES, I almost died. So, you're awesome. And that's pretty much it.

I was kinda wondering about that as well, 'cause I saw a lot of the 'loves' teams, too. *shrugs* Not entirely sure, 'cause some of the names I saw that looked like combined teams didn't use 'loves'.
IT WAS AMAZING. I never want to touch popcorn again, but AMAZING. I knew a couple of the people on my team going into it, but the only person I live near is my best friend, Bridgette, so we did as much as we could together. Let it be known, that girl is dedicated. She did the bejeweled bosom. I was impressed, lol. What else? I made a kilt of cucumbers, which, ew. And the Barbie thing! IT REEKED SO BAD. A bunch of other stuff, too, but those were the most memorable. What about you? Tell me your stories, oh great one. ^^
You've kinda gone into a whole bunch of fandoms I'm in, so every time I see something new from you, like when I saw the Sherlock stuff, I squeal and tell everyone.

Ha! Your friend is a brave woman. One of my teammates bejeweled her boobs, very tastefully, too. My coworker Sarah volunteered to jump out of an airplane for me! That was my favorite thing we did, because it was impressive, but mostly because it really showed me how much my coworkers love me. I can thank GISHWHES for making me realize I have such good friends.
What else, gosh... I knit a 16-foot scarf in two days, found a couple four-leaf clovers to stick through my friends' noses, sourced a stormtrooper uniform for my friend Julie to wear... Our team was fuckin' PHENOMENAL. We got some crazy shit done, like they found the pumpkin catapult, found the paper in Wuhan, China, sat lotus amid live snakes, put their heads through walls next to stuffed moose, got on the news for jogging in pumpkin shoes... I think my favorite thing from a teammate was Claire's popcorn wig . It was just so gorgeous, and she matched her makeup to the cheese puffs!
I don't expect to win -- some teams did insane shit, and so beautifully, too -- but I wouldn't be shocked out of my socks if we did.

As a school bus driver of 6+ years (will be quitting for a OTR tractor trailer driving job on November 26th of this year) - I can't express in the right words just how awesome and positively clever this picture is!
As a wild, short-black-haired school bus driver - who is a bit of a daredevil, madcap myself - I SERIOUSLY adore this picture! It's so ironic and uncanny that I LOVE IT!
Anyway, I love your artwork of Miss Jean Louis! I'm glad to hear that GISHWHES was fun even if it DID turn out to be a 'total wreck.'
