Been really feeling my traditional media lately. A simple bit, but still I enjoyed the play of flat graphic on modeled.She looks horrified, though she is really the "creature." I think I may do a larger piece with her in it. Give it more of a story feel. Ah well, in the future...

*sigh* I love the depth you can give characters with watercolors. Usually, people use waters to do landscapes, water scenes, etc. But you are so good with profiles and human, if not not-so-humans, LOL.

After reading your comment I was tempted to suggest that it was fanart of "Yokai Monsters." I like it, but then I am a sucker for yokai, especially the dames.

Ah, I am a big fan of "The Great Yokai War" by Miike as well. If you havn't seen it, you should check it out.

I have not seen "The Great Yokai War." I was excited when I heard it was being made but I still haven't ever watched it.
Then they tell me not to tell, then they spare my life for the sake of the children... but it isn't worht it...
