Description
This is Kiara and Kovu's adopted son Sadaka. He is the oldest of their 4 cubs, but because he is not royal blood, he cannot be the heir, so Usala was made heir instead. He doesn't mind not being king, he just wonders why he can't. His real mother is scruffy, and a random rogue.

A little bit of background here. So scruffy was one of Kovu's best friends as a cub and through his teenage years. She was his favorite training partner, and his best friend. During her teenage years, she developed a crush on the young male, though Kovu was clueless and never thought of her as anything more than a friend. When the merge of the two prides happened, she tried to get into VItani's guard to impress him, but was rejected. She was placed as a border guard, and mated with a random rogue one night while patrolling. A couple of months later, she was on patrol when she went into labor, she tried to get back to pride rock, when she realized she was only going further away, she was outside of the borders now, and was nearing a large pit, she couldn't go anywhere, so she stayed there until the pain was over. The next night, Kovu was returning from a meeting with the leader of a neighboring pride, when he heard a roar. Recognizing it as Scruffy's, he ran to the scene. She was fighting off a group of jackals, led by a strong leopard. Scruffy was doing her best to take them down, but even with her intense training from zira, her skills were no match for the pack of jackals. Kovu joined in with scruffy, and while the Jackals fought their best, the leopard watched as her followers fell one by one. When all of the jackals were either killed, hurt, or had fled the scene, Kovu and scruffy went after the leopard. The leopard attacked kovu and did him a deal of damage, but was surprised when scruffy jumped in front of her and whacked her in the face, knocking the leopard back where she stopped at the cliff's edge. She eyed Kovu, and prepared to pounce of him, Scruffy realized that a blow like that would knock him off the cliff and cause him to go plunging into the pit. Time slowed as the leopard prepared her attack. Scruffy looked back at where she had left the cub, she could hear it mewing. She looked at Kovu, then the leopard. The leopard pounced. Scruffy panicked, she screamed, "KOVU!" and leaped for the leopard...

I won't spoil the rest because I think I might make this into a comic.
