I'm still alive really!Sorry to all that have requests out....I haven't had any desire to draw recently and not that much free time. I probably should have worked on one of my requests but...I didn't feel like it. =x I haven't forgotten though! Hopefully I will finish the half done ones and start on the other two soon.
Anyway quick close up on Cali. I tried some new things with the skin (actually just tweaked the old ways) and I'm pretty happy with the results. I still need to mess with the shadows, but I think the lighter parts turned out very well.
I spent about 15 min on the hair all together...I know it looks kinda rushed but I was mainly focusing on skin. Spent about 30 seconds on the background...
Spent probably 5-6 hours on this. Done completely in Photoshop as usual.

It looks like you spent way longer on her hair than 15 minutes. This looks really beautiful, especially her eyes and lips.
Her ear does look a little long though, unless she's supposed to be an elf or something. I'm too lazy to go back and look at other deviations to check. D:
