Drawing by me~! Usami turns Chiaki into a magical girlAt first, I wanted to draw my own magical girl outfit for my OC character. Then I thought of Usami and Chiaki so I used them instead. I like having some guidance on what to draw. I based Chiaki's outfit mostly on Usami's look. I only copied the skirt but I added in my own design for the rest of her outfit.
I colored differently for this piece. I drew with a gray scale and gradient map on top of my usual shading. This method is good if you want a certain color theme or blending with your environment. There's a lot of pink, white, and yellow here.
My inspiration is the moment a small magical mascot asks you to become a magical girl. Chiaki is like what, me?!?!
Oh yeah Chiaki is best girl and one of my faves in Danganronpa
