I recognized the title at once, and I still have a picture I drew of this somewhere when I first read it, but it's definitely not as good as this. I love the dark background... very like Poe. And the dress is really nice, and I like the touch of the red jewel. My only problem is that the circles on her cheeks look a little unnatural, despite the setting of this. Otherwise, great job!

This is stunning! The wavy flow of her hair reminds me a bit of some of Abigail Larson's work. I Β love the way the ink bleeds around the edges, it's wonderfully gothic! Her face is suitably gaunt and I love the fixed, intense focus of her gaze.
