I made this change because unlike the original, I didn't want to wait over 100 pages for her to be called "Pulse". I thought this was a better choice overall. There's more to it later.It's harder to tell because it's not in color, but if you look closely "Tabitha" 's eyes are different colors. One is blue, one is green. There was an explanation in the original series, but in this one it's just natural. I thought it made her more unique.

I do think it is a better choice in naming her pulse up front, gets the reader connected to the name and the comic sooner.

If she's manifesting powers at five, however minor, definitely makes sense to use the shorthand of being a superhero and they need code-names
