Let's see... it's been about 20 days since my wait for "The Last Airbender" ended. And now, a new year-long wait has been dumped on me!"Avatar: The Legend of Korra" will be coming out 2012.
Things that I'm excited about:
#1: It's a sequel that expands upon the universe created by Mike and Bryan.
#2: It focuses on a new cast of characters. (New opportunities to fall in love and new shipping opportunities!)
#3: Female main character!
#4: Cloudbaby proof: Tenzin in Aang and Katara's son and Korra's Airbending teacher. (Proof that Tenzin is Katara's son: [link] )
#5: BENDERS ON MOTORCYCLES!!!
#6: JK Simmons as Tenzin! XD ("I WANT PICTURES! PICTURES OF THE FIRELORD!!!")
#7: Korra being kick-ass!

I have the urge to jump up and down and be a crazed fan-girl, but also depressed cause Bumi (I would marry this man if he was my age) is probably long gone and is possible the original characters too. Though I do believe we will get looks of Aang from the spirit world and all that stuff, I'm also thinking we can't pair Aang and Katara's kid cause think about it, it's been 70 years he could be a a little older than her (possibly real old(have no intentions of doing logic and math)).
Anyway I don't want to see them (original characters) super old and wrinkely TT~TT total turn-off

It is my firm fan-speculation belief that Tenzin is married and that the unknown character Meelo is his son. Or, if only one of them can be right, that Tenzin is married.
The oldest that Tenzin could be is around his 60's, because I very much doubt that Aang and Katara would go and have a child immediately after the show ended. They would have waited several years, probably a decade, before having children. He couldn't be any younger than in his 30's because he has to be old enough to have been fully trained in Airbending and also allowing Korra about 17 years to grow up.

Yep, Yep, O well. I heard around that they'll pair them together and that was the first time I heard of Legend of Korra, so I was really confused till I read a little bit more into it. I'm still slightly excited about this, and I bet Meelo is a cute kid.

every body seems so happy that the new Avatar is an girl I'm not happy at all! Girls mostly are like: O noes and aaa and nooo they react wierd... and they're not funny most of the time.. but that's mine opinion hehe
