My skin,
disgusting,
clothed in false identities.
A materialistic concoction of all whom I envy.
All whom I denounce.
Yet I still spy with hidden jealousy.

Do I perhaps long for the ignorance which would fulfill my life
with mindless bliss and unimportant atrocities?
For your illusions, and reverence;
as pinnacle of your own shallow reality.
Why do I still envy all that I loathe?

Your manipulation is intriguing.
To have such power while appearing innocent and pure.
But there is an unseen eye which is aware.
And a rage which burns my compassion to ash.

No secure conclusions will ever be drawn.
No single opinion or explanation can be made to my satisfaction.
