This one seems the most striking to me, not necessarily because it looks like a jet fighter pilot.. that minor detail on the face grill, those holes just pop out. Funny how such minor things just become so noticeable. Its looks solid, well blended and textured. It looks as if you just glanced at this person and remembered this instance. Superb work with this.

This looks cool! I like the way you made the face a shadow, and where you have the light coming from. And the BG does look like gas. Great work man.

I agree, I like the original one better. The extreme lighting is awesome, btw. But the glowstick is too much an afterthought...it also doesn't light the scene properly. You've still got the uber shadows below it and while you've changed the overall lighting of the scene to be green, there's still little to no secondary lighting on the surfaces from the stick.
