Description Gaz listened to Zim's explanation, granted his lack of certain details did lead to a few more questions.  For instance it did worry her slightly that she lost control the way she had. She always knew she was capable of preternatural things. However she was unaware of the magnitude at which she could control them. Just weeks ago she had to concentrate nearly all her energy on just moving a few dozen cafeteria trays, it was almost staggering to think she was destroying streets while basically unconscious.

However she couldn't deny that a sense of relief came over her. In fact she was unable to think that perhaps her attackers had actually gotten off easy. She also couldn't help but smirk at how easy it was to get Zim to start playing by her rules in the end. It also did account for Zim's initial hesitance to speak up at first. Gaz decided that his own stupid reluctance to not call the shots would explain his insistence on trying to anger her after having witnessed what he had last night.

“Moron.” Gaz murmured under her breath.

“Hmm” Zim cautiously stepped closer to Gaz, the muscles above his eye furrowed.

“What?” Gaz questioned. She recognized the look from when he examined her arm back in her living room.

“This was not the reaction I was expecting.” Zim stated his expression unchanging.

“What were you expecting?”

“Not entirely sure, you've been really hard to predict these past weeks.”

Gaz snorted “Hate to break it to you Zim but Human teenagers are often classified as hard to predict.”

This time Zim let out an exasperated exhale. “You really believe that?”

Gaz glared at Zim, he really was a moron wasn't he, “Geez why even bother going to school in order to 'study earth' if you're not even going to pay attention to any of the classes you take.” She could tell by the new look on his face he wasn't following, she did not want to delve into what could potentially lead to a birds and bees discussion with Zim “Just ask your health or science teachers at school, heck ask Gir for all I care.”

“What does school have to do with whether or not you're hu-”

“Ummm sir?” The computer's voice echoed through the hall, cutting Zim off. Before Zim or Gaz had time to react the computer kept on speaking, “There seems to be a disturbance, errrm, with the ongoing study.”

“Ongoing study?” Zim asked, Gaz couldn't help but scoff at his expression, how could he be so clueless.

A loud groan could be heard from the computer as he once again started to speak, “The ongoing study. The one you've officially been observing for weeks now. The, ummmm, habitat of the subject has a, uh, foreign contaminant?”

“What are you going on about?” Zim said in frustration.

“The subject of the fairly recently relatively ongoing, observational study, has potetential foreign contaminants in their habitat.”

Gaz now joined Zim in a look of confusion. Although while Zim seemed almost completley lost, Gaz couldn't help but feel like the Computer was trying to avoid speaking clearly on purpose. If this was a regular habit Gaz could understand better why Zim seemed so bewildered all the time. Gaz glanced at Zim who looked like he was trying to avoid tearing his lower eyelids off. Gaz exhaled then spoke up, “Is it, he trying to speak in riddles on purpose?”

Zim briefly looked like a wire had snapped in his brain, the way his eye twitched, “If he is I'm going to be sure to reprogram him within the hour. Now tell me what exactly is going on.”

“Sir,” the computer spoke up, “perhaps if you were to move to a more seclu-”

“No! I am tired of everyone forgetting who is the one in charge here. You're going to tell me right here.”

“But..”

“NO! I said now.” Zim yelled. Gaz shifted her position, it'd been a while since she'd seen him this particular level of angry.

The computer groaned again, “Well I want it put on the record that I tried to avoid potential disaster given the delicate situation.”

Zim practically growled through his gritted teeth.

“There appears to be intruders in the Membrane household.” The computer droned matter of factly. Zim's eyes widened and his mouth slowly opened as the computer's reluctance to speak finally made sense.

“Wait,” Gaz spoke up again, “How could you know that?”

Soon a screen dropped from the ceiling revealing a living room with several men dressed in all black searching through the room. Gaz examined the screen, it was a weird angle but it didn't take long for her to recognize the living room as her own. “You've been spying on me?”

“No.” Zim sputtered defensively.

“Yes.” suddenly came the high pitched voice of Gir from behind them.

“No.” Zim shouted again this time towards Gir.

“No? Then how do you explain the live feed of my living room?” Gaz turned on Zim.

“Really that's what you decided to focus on now?” The computer's voice echoed over everybody.

Gaz looked at the ceiling then at the video feed. The computer was right, as annoying as it was to ignore the infringement of privacy, at the moment the more pressing matter was who  were these men who were scouring her house and what was it that the were looking for.
