Description
So I finally came around to doing a page on what I would think a male Griffin would look like. I decided to a picture of both genders just so it's easy to see the differences. I also decided to show off a few bust shots for some Griffin characters. First to talk about the differences. Males have more head feathers than females. The front of their head comes to a point and of course eye shape is different. Then there is a size difference, with males being slightly larger than females and males also having thicker necks.

The bust shots is mostly to show variation of the Griffin's face. First there is Garion from the anime. Not much to say about her since we all know her at this point. The next one there is Lyra, the main character of Legendz: TSL. As you can see her head is quite different. She has sharp brown eyes with no markings around them, crescents on her cheeks and a completely different head crest. She also doesn't put dreads in her hair. Third is Enzo, a Griffin character I hadn't introduced yet, but I'll just say he is the biological father of Lyra for now. I'll probably do a separate concept of him in the future. So why does Lyra not have any kind of marking around her eyes? Well, I'm using the eye marks as a sign of being full grown and at the start of TSl, Lyra... isn't really a full grown Griffin yet even though she is considered a young adult. Well there you have it, Male and female Griffins.
