Link’s swelling did not stop in the forest. In fact, it was clear to Midna that he had taken a souvenir in the form of a chubby belly. An increased eating habit appeared to have fallen him as well. On the one hand she found it amusing--weren’t great heroes supposed to take back scars and not rounded guts back from their battles? His rediscovered friends seemed to think so with their behind the back giggles. Yet, on the other hand, she found something strangely endearing about his new shape. He couldn’t hope to hide his new weight but Midna feared she couldn’t hide the truth of hoping to see him gain even more.
