The hand is fine. The arms are facing their opposite sides and you can see that the right hand is holding the sword toward the left side.

The anatomy on this is really confusing. I can't tell where the arm is coming from and the whole body is a jumbled mess, especially the legs. The foreshortening looks a bit awkward and the fact that the hand has no lines or depth to it makes it look like a rubber glove.
There's also just too much going on; the elements on their own are very nice but they've been thrown together in a haphazard way that makes the image incredibly busy and hard to read. The colour scheme and colouring, however, is very nicely done.
