...I think now is a good time to bring this up, 'cus this piece really reminds me of some fan art I've seen for the series: is anybody else getting a SMT Persona vibe from SH? Β I just played through 4 (slowly working through 3), and something about the concepts and tone is just really seeming similar to me. Β I dunno, maybe I'm just losing it... Β

You know I hadn't thought about it before, but it's a little bit true! The idea of true selves and awesome forms X3 I've never played Persona (though I'm a HUGE fan of the first Devil Survivor game), but I watched one of my friends play through 4 at one point so I know the concept!

Come to think of it, wouldn't the concept of a mysterious city that summons people be a great setting for a Persona game? Β You could be the leader of a team of detainment aids that go around and handle Feral Personas, and the MC is like this huge deal because his Persona form is constantly changing and everybody's freaked out by it.

That might be pretty cool! A constantly changing Persona almost hints at some kind of mental illness, or lack of permanent identity. Perhaps he'd be young, and not set in his ways yet? Or maybe it's more than that.
If Ricky ever joins the Airavata you might get to live a little of that dream... XD
