Once again a pic that was first pencilled in by Mel, and is colored by me. I think that to date I've colored about um...10 pics of hers, but this one of the few that isn't porn. *laughs*Just because I said this, she'll probably go back and put a penis in it somewhere. She's evil, I tell you.
Anyway, for those who don't know, Ashley is from the game Vagrant Story, which is one of my favorite RPG video games evah. I really need to get a PS2 so I can play it again. Well, I could get a PS1 and play it, but then I'm spending money on an old system where backwards compatability isn't an iss...

Mel recommends tracing manga or art that you like the style of, if you want to learn how to draw perspective, etc, because that sort of thing is covered very well in those books.
The coloring is my only contribution to this picture.

Wow, really nice pic here! Especially in the "smooth-but-stylistically-sketchy" lineart, and even moreso the anatomy... And head shape. Where did you learn the anatomy and head shapes from? If anywhere, that is... Since I am having major troubles with those two points right now, and any source is very helpful...
I have never played or even heard of this game the character is from... Anyways, I must say, that this is a very VERY nice picture... Perspectives are good, too!
If I don't stop commenting soon, I'll be going on for a while about the good things, soo...
