Every part of this painting is great. I can immediately you see that you're a skilled and an experienced artist.
Lighting and shadows really create a grand effect in paintings and you achieved it. It is really evident that it is raining even without adding raindrops and such. The reflections, shades, and the color choice are enough to convince the viewer of the weather. The colors are really bold and contrasting especially in the crowd. Detail seems to gradually fade away and color starts to lighten up as I venture farther out through the painting. It's a cool effect.
I've seen a lot of paintings like these for a long while and yours is a great sample. Impressionistic paintings always draw me in and you've done the genre beautifully. Your work also made me feel right at home even though it's an unfamiliar setting. It's always raining in my country and it made me fall in love with rain.

Amsterdam is not this colourful, it's more like a lifeless gray mass.
It's nice to see Amsterdam a bit more lively though, nice work.
