I woke up on the morning of March 8th to the sad news of the passing of Master Akira Toriyama. As a Brazilian, myself and many children and teenagers from the late 90s and early 2000s experienced the boom that was Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball was also the first manga published in the Eastern style here in Brazil. Master Toriyama was responsible for making manga popular worldwide and was also responsible for making me fall in love with manga. As an artist, he will live on eternally through his work, and his legacy will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Master Akira Toriyama.
