The American lion (Panthera leo atrox or P. atrox) — also known as the North American lionNaegele’s giant jaguar orAmerican cave lion — is an extinct  lion  of the family  Felidae , endemic to North America  and northwestern South America  during the Pleistocene  epoch (0.34 mya  to 11,000 years ago), existing for approximately 0.33  million years.[1]  It has been shown by genetic analysis to be a sister lineage to the Eurasian cave lion  (Panthera leo spelaea or P. spelaea).(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American…

More recently the lion fossils form South America are now believed to be large jaguars ,limiting the lions range to only North America,they probably never entered South America because of the Smilodon populator.

It's a technical pen.Actually the one I use is branded as Isograph by Rotring.I use the sizes from 0.1 to 0.7mm.
