Shortly backstory:

After her mother's death, Maria has always lived in the forest near city in her own little hut that was built from branches and leaves to keep some heat inside so she didn't freeze so badly over the winter. Maria was very thin and never dared to steal food, but she had always been amazed when a big box of food had appeared in front of her hut every day. She couldn't refuse what was offered because she had to live, spoiled or not, Maria still ate everything. Warm clothes had also appeared in front of her hut from time to time, which she put on if it was a bitterly cold night.

Beginning of M1 she joined a school with her poor reading skills, where there were other goddesses and people in general. Many admired her long hair, but it also looked quite dirty. Maria was added to the club very quickly already almost on the first day, because Susan noticed that this unknown girl was a little afraid of everything, but Susan had positive topics of conversation that made her calm down.
Later after the school day someone very tall she didn't know followed her into the woods for a really long time and Maria's fear came back until she fell and hurt herself. This tall person turned out to be the one who always brought her food...(meaning Andre) They had spent some time hanging out, but later Tsuneko also showed up and after telling everything, she suggested that Maria would move into their house. She moved in with the Andarton family after suffering in the woods many months or even years. Maria felt happier and more grateful to everyone in this new family.

Beginning of M8, Maria realized why Andre always tried so hard to show a sign of his feelings for Maria, because she was always confused that if Andre said everything as a joke, she didn't understand it...She's kinda airhead. So she slowly began to understand Andre's feelings better and also began to feel the same things, but weakly. Maria still considered Andre very important.. until after M8 She said they can try dating.

In M10 no one knew what was happening to her, she was pretty mysterious until before she died to Hekate, Maria was cursed by this 3 headed monster.. and if she shared the curse with others it would be her insta death.. so she took a risk by giving almost all of her blood to Andre because Maria knew she was going to die anyway... After sharing forbidden words to her teammates, she died of a curse.. but after the fight Allan brought Maria back to life and left her in Andre's arms.. she woke up but felt weak. Andre gave her own blood back to Maria to recover.

After Maria recovered from huge chaotic experiences for a week...at some point, Maria had decided to tell Andre that she has felt something similar to Allan and she really wanted to investigate the matter, so they briefly returned to the city of Castellum to Andre's grandfather's house to look through Maria's old things. Maria found old pictures of Allan with his mother, and she really wanted to meet Allan after the shock, but it's so difficult because Allan doesn't use a phone, so the only hope was if she ever met him on the street or in the forest. Maria returned to the capital with Andre and one evening Maria decided to go to the store alone to buy food, but on the street towards Andre's apartment she met Allan at last. Maria was surprised to see Allan and took a picture from her pocket, which she kept with her for many days "...father?" At that time, Andre had a little time to worry when nothing was heard from Maria, so he had gone to the street to look for her, but he saw Maria crying and hugging Allan and realized what it was about and didn't react any further.
Before Allan continued his own adventures, Maria was grateful to find out who her real father was and hoped to meet her father again one day. Then she noticed Andre staring and went up to him to hug and rubbed her tears from her face onto Andre's clothes. Andre said, "I'm not a tissue, you silly..."
