Professor Maple is the Orbaria region's local professor. While most professors in the Pokemon World focused on the varying phenomenon concerning the world's Pokemon, Professor Maple instead focused on social sciences, opting to do her research on the social and cultural aspects of the Orbaria region. A very active participant in the culture she's studying, Professor Maple regularly wears a suit and a ball hood of her own, only taking the hood off for food and drink or for formal conversations/meetings. She regularly checks up on the Orbaria region's gym leaders, who have elected to mix kink with service to the league. Professor Maple assisted in developing a means for bound trainers to engage participants in the Orbaria League into battle. She had tested out a belt that allowed trainers to dispense whichever Pokemon they want to send out through telepathic communication and magnetic levitation. Since then, Orbaria's gym leaders elected to have trainers bound and ballhooded.
