VOL 2Well time ago I think that I hate FFVIII characters, Squall is a crybaby, Rinoa is pest, Quistis a depressive granny, Zell is an idiot...... blah blah. What I hate the most is the stupidity of the girls, you have a mission but they are always talking about her feelings, yes, I'm not a romantic person, but these girls are ridiculously sensitive. All the game telling you (Squall) that you've to be more romantic with Rinoa.

While i think you're right on the girls (and on Squall) I have to say the G.F.'s are pretty cool characters for e.g., and Xell (/Zell) and this Cowboy-dude are also kinda cool characters. Even if Xell acts kinda stupid sometimes, he does it in his own uhmm.. unique, adorable way. While Selphie and Rinoa are just ridiculous stupid and really annoying.

I love this and volume two as well! I love ffvii (like everyone else says) but the game could have worked like this as well.

Actually, my little brother and I spent some time playing this game and trying to figure out how... HOW did Squall ended up "In love" with Rinoa. It was like he was brainwashed all along the game. Each cd (talking about playstation version) is like a different storyline all together.
You never get to know Why the Heck Ultimecia wants the time Compression.
