So, I realized a while back that I had never sculpted a Raichu before! I've always been a fan of Raichu, so I have no idea how that happened. XD So of course I had to rectify this situation right away. While looking through reference photos for Raichu, I came across the awesome card art for Lt. Surge's Raichu([link] ) and knew that I had to try a similar pose. It was quite a challenge to create on such a small scale(I had to make the tiniest full wire armature I've ever made!), but I think the end result looks pretty neat!

Raichu measures 2.5in tall. He is made from a mixture of Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm polymer clay over a foil armature, painted with acrylics and sealed with a gloss finish. He is mounted on a tiny wooden base that has been painted and glazed.
