So, just finished the Neverland arc. May I say something? It's just PERFECT. Loved it, from the beginning to its absolutely beautiful ending.Along the Mad Hatter episode and the Regina and the Huntsman, I can definitely say Once Upon a Time is WORTH watching. There are maaany stories and episodes that are really bad in my opinion, but the few good ones, well... THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
No regrets. Let's see how this arc with the Green Witch is, but I doubt it'll be better than the Neverland one.

The Neverland Arc was one of the best OUAT has ever seen, and Peter Pan and Zelena were the greatest villains to ever come on there, trumping even Rumpel in how far they were willing to go, and how severely they exploit their foes' weaknesses.
I knew, at least on a subconscious level, that Peter was related to Rumpel somehow, if only through keeping Bae on the island for 200 years or so. If the preview with the Lost Boys at the end of Season 2 was any indication of what Peter was like, I didn't want to meet him. But meet him I did, and he fooled us all into thinking he was going to help Henry when he was leading him to the center of the "labyrinth" that is the island and then sealing the entrance. Rumpel has probably used similar tactics to capture monsters and destroy entire peoples, whether under the compelling of the dagger or not, over his 300 odd years of immortality.
P.S. I may love music, and it has been a part of my life from a young age, but Pan's song is one I hope to never hear. I am a resourceful and self-reliant person for the most part, but even I need help getting out of hopeless situations sometimes.

Well, I honestly can't consider Rumple or Regina as villains anymore XD Sure, they're wicked sometimes, but compare them with Cora, Peter or Zelena... Rumple and Regina have got more humanity; those other ones are... cold and mischief as hell!
And I agree. This Peter Pan gave us a really different point of view of his story... and a more realistic one in my opinion. A kid that kidnaps boys and girls while they sleep, that rules a whole world, that doesn't want to grow up... I can't see any good on him anymore XD

Regina, I'm not so sure. There's an uneasy friendship between us by Season 3, but I stopped caring about whether she got a happy ending (never mind lived or died) after Ep. 3-3. Rumpel has more depth and humanity than any other character. He portrays characters not as we want them to be but as they are; no one embodies the "double-sided mirror"/capacity for good AND evil in each of us better than he does. He makes mistakes, does bad things, lies to everyone in their own time (worst of all to himself)… but that's part of what shows us that he hasn't forgotten what it's like to be human. Zoso forgot.

The Neverland was THE best arc. I loved Peter Pan and all the stories behind it I just wish Pan could have stayed. ;_; You portraided him perfectly, I love you for this piece!
