I tried to use TamberElla 's technique to create a flame, as per the turorial . Because it's a good drawing prompt, fun to do, and I need the practice. I think it ended up looking more like ice instead. At least I've got an idea on which colours to use, even if I need to experiment more still.
Trying to use traditional materials to emulate photoshop magic doesn't work I guess. Live and learn.
