One of the things I immediately noticed while playing Majora's Mask is that while the story is darker, the world itself is much brighter and more colorful. The Deku Princess is a shining example of this. Excellent art.

I always thought she was one of the cutest character's I'd seen.
It did baffle me how she could fit in a bottle, though. O_o

She was so cool!!!
Wait, wasn't there another deku child who was cursed of something?? I think it was butlers child, the one at the very beginning of the game before entering into clock town?
Didn't Link as a deku remind butler of his son?

Yes, that's right, the Deku Butler's son was cursed and killed by Skull Kid, he was that sad tree, and that's why Link's Deku Form looks like him.

That poor deku...first person to be targeted by the skull kid and we never got to know the lad...but why was the deku so far from home??
Wasn't Butler's son the only one not to return to normal? It's sad he died...

Such a cute little thing. It makes me sad that we haven't heard from the Deku race since Minish Cap.

When she told me to carry her I had no idea what to do.
I swung a bottle at her as a joke after trying everything else I could think of. You can imagine my face when it worked XD

Lol, I bet! It is very unexpected, and rather illogical, that she could fit in a bottle. I don't really remember how I figured it out, my friend might have told me, it was so long ago I just have no memory of it. xD

You're lucky! I kind of wish I hadn't played it as a little kid, cause I know it so well now it's not a challenge anymore, and I found I have a different feeling towards the games that I've only played in recent years. That's why I love Master Quest, it let me experience Ocarina of Time almost like it was new. It would be so cool if they did that for Majora's Mask too, but I know they never will.

Unless we get the 3DS remake of Zelda Majora's Mask! Have you noticed that every recent Zelda game has had a "Hero Mode"? It makes the game more difficult, and rewards you for playing it by giving you new stuff! Take LoZ LBW for example. You get new upgrades in that mode that the normal mode did not have! Plus, despite it being a remake of the N64 version, OoT Zelda on 3DS had Master Quest anyways! I'm guessing if we get LoZ MM 3D, we WILL have Master Quest or Hero Mode on it as an option! Let's hope for the best! ^^

I have ALWAYS wondered how the heck she could fit into that tiny bottle... and survive.
