But hey, standardbred! Great breed if must be real horse (not toy, so than in America - or other - is often). Free, kicking, muscly and normal-haired horse is happy horse!

I volunteer at the Standardbred Retirement Foundation in NJ. They are amazing horses, Standardbreds.

that's really neat that you volunteer for the SRF -- they requested me to do some charity work once, I sadly couldn't because of time restriction during that month for professional work, but I definitely would have.

Beautiful shot! I love how his coat gleams in the sun...I really miss summer. I do wish that the horses hind leg wasn't cut out of the picture, but otherwise, a lovely shot of a playful horse.
