ABILITIES Lost World Human: Roanoke is capable of using magic, in addition to higher strength levels than New World Humans.
-Strength level: Roanoke is capable of performing a military press weighing up to 700kg.
-Durability: Roanoke has normal human durability of his size. His armor is made of Truesilver, as are all armors made in Asteria, allowing it to provide high levels of physical protection while being thin and light. This armor can deflect glancing full power rifle rounds (7.62x51mm and similar .308 ammo).
Magic: Roanoke has the rare element of Chaos magic. Chaos magic has no weaknesses or strengths but has unique properties. Roanoke’s Chaos magic allows him to absorb magic elements and use it for a short period of time. His second element is Water, as expected of his Margeaux heritage.
Weapon charging: Roanoke can charge his weapons with magic , allowing them to deal magic damage. If he does not absorb any element, his charged weapon deals non elemental damage (Kinetic damage) or Water damage.
Lohengrin: Roanoke’s weapon, it was given as a gift for aiding Stoikyngorod in a demon invasion from the Burning Rift. Lohengrin is a Omniblade with 4 modes. Battle Axe, Greatsword, Gunlance mode, and Sword and Shield mode.
Created during the height of Stoikyngorod’s magic use, Lohengrin’s weapon core was comprised of a Demon’s heart (a Mimic) that allows the weapon to absorb and change elements to the opposite of the opponent’s magic type. This can be done by blocking magic attacks with the shield mode or dealing physical damage with the blade.
-Weapon battery: Lohengrin possesses an internal battery that stores the energy used in attacks. As it begins to fill up, Roanoke can call upon the internal battery’s energy to deal further magic damage. The power of these batteries vary in weapon modes.
Axe: The most damaging weapon form, Lohengrin can unleash all stored energy in a powerful conal explosion of magic. In addition, its swings also create minor explosions. The power drain can also be released in small bursts, creating multiple additional strikes on impact.
Lohengrin, Greatsword mode: The weapon is transformed into a greatsword mode. In this mode, Roanoke is able to attack faster and drain the battery at a slower pace. This however prevents the usage of powerful explosions like that of the Axe mode.
Gunlance mode: In this mode, it functions similar to a modern Stoikyngorodian Gunlance, except instead of using ferrous shells, the omniblade gunlance fires magical blasts from the internal battery, allowing 6 powerful shots before needing to be refilled. To speed up refilling, the shield of the gunlance uses the impacts from blocking to charge the battery.
Sword and Shield mode: A closer ranged version of the Gunlance mode in function, allowing Roanoke to attack and defend at the same time. In addition the sword features a gunblade-like barrel, allowing for a less powerful shot in exchange for faster firing.
