Download for original size.Finally - I drew this up a few weeks ago but was too soon after the Secret Santa assignment I got from the Draconic discussion board I frequent, and so I waited. Now it's a bit late, isn't it? Oh well - here you go,
I went off of a drawing of Raziel, and I apologize if this wasn't the specific dragon you wanted the person who got your name to draw. >> If I did mess up, please tell me and I could try to make up for it by drawing a request of yours, etc.Pretty fascinating character, though.
Lot of fun to draw. Happy Holidays, everyone (if not a little belated).Combination of .05 mechanical pencil and colored pencils.

Thank you - I do agree that I tend to leave things in black and white, though it didn't help that with this dragon being shades of black and grey in the first place.

Very nice shading.....and line work....geez I LOVE pencil (graphite?) drawings. I think they look better than anything in color sometimes!!

Well, to correct myself, you mentioned this was a mix of colored pencils but still.....I really enjoy the regular pencil work

Ooh, this is a diffrent dragon design from what I usually see. Those tubular scales boggle my eyes, it's a really neat effect. I like your interpetation of this character.

It is a rather unique dragon, I must say - very difficult to interpret into my own style, etc., but I guess it worked.

Definitely awesome, I can't shade with pencil like that to save my life, nor can I clean my lines up.

Oddly enough my pencil was actually working with me that day (I could draw thin lines relatively easily - on some other days I try my hardest and all I get is a big, fat, rough line of graphite. ><
