Description
This very special piece is called “Gratitude” and is my 100th polymer clay artwork. I chose a lion for this piece to represent my Christian faith and my gratitude for Jesus and the purpose He has placed in my life.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is such an amazing thing to live a life doing what you know God has placed you here to do.

Over five years ago, I had never even heard of polymer clay. I was looking at a craft shop catalogue, and saw the mention of polymer clay. God placed a prompting in my heart to try it. Now, I know what you are thinking. Many of you will think that I just wanted to try another craft or loved buying art supplies. Although these things are true 🙂 I have only ever felt this strongly a few times before, and each time God has led me to something beautiful and important in my life (like my husband 😊).

When I begun creating my polymer clay artworks in December 2017, I never would have thought I could have shared my life and faith to people from around the world through my art. I have spoken to and met so many amazing people through my journey, and I feel like I’ve only just begun.

So as I present my 100th polymer clay artwork, I thank the God that led me here in the first place, and who leads me every day. “For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.”
