i've always kinda felt bad for vetch bc the shit she did was always for the sake of neven, who she considered to be pure and undeserving of the cruel events in her life that eventually led up to her becoming the seeress. that's why i decided it would be a tragic af twist to have her accidentally kill neven instead of umoret, the guilt from that slowly eats away at her remaining humanity/sanity until she breaks completely, hence why she ends up so unhinged in the "final battle" of the first half of umoret's story.
