I think I'm done? I might go back and add a better detailed background but for now this'll do. Not entirely sure if the light from her hands is too bright or not, if so I'd love to hear what to do with that as I kinda just messed around in PS with them till I got something neat. :U
I had put a looooottt of detail in this.. lol...

Edit: Had to fix color issue cause PS transfer to PNG screwed up contrast again. Bleh.
Edit 2: fjgasgfy, it only does this when I full size it. The fuck dA?

So far progress is slow but I like the progress! I'm going to stick to this coloring here. Simple fun and it makes me feel like I am doing this traditionally rather than being completely digital. I'm trying to match the coloring I did with Corel Painter into Photoshop since I am more used to Photoshop than it and because Corel tends to have the tendency to lag, freeze and crash, or fakes to crash due to it not being not compatible with Windows 7.

Kinda proud so far. Need to make some color adjustments here and there but overall so far so good. Mainly cause I forgot to change the tone and darkness of the painting shade layer for the yellows cause it's a bit too dark. lol

But over all it's pretty nice.. kinda needed something like this to make me change my mind of the quitting thing. Cause my coloring was definitely part of it. It was boring and overworked.

I made it full size so you guys can see it in it's full format which is nicer than what dA smoothed it out to be. It's very sharp and gritty.

Yeah I know I got things to do but I needed to get my coloring down, it was just so awful to me. After this is done I can finally start ATs/RQ and stuff and continue my belated Christmas gifts. Need to gain some kind of confidence in my art as hating it is just making me go nowhere. :I

After I get these AT's and RQ's I'm not going to take any new ones for awhile. I want to spend the rest of the year studying anatomy/practicing/still life/color practice/etc. As it's been awhile since. I mean I study by visually looking and mental notes but I don't practice drawing any of it.

I'm gonna go take a nap, and get off net cause my internet is stupid and I happen to have a stable connection right now so I decided to update this while I can.

Got rid of the C-cell completely as I feel it doesn't work in my style no more, provides too much blandness and is often the cause of my pictures being dark. I don't enjoy doing C-cell either anymore so that's another. Replacing it with the pencil brush I have.

Going to just stick to this, it's more fun and less restrictive on what I do. Probably why I've been so "ugh" with coloring.

I'm starting to like this coloring now. Yay lol.

I'm sorry for re-updating you guys to this again but I feel I wanted to show this in case anyone has advice on this style I'm getting at. xD

Kinda coloring on and off. Been unmotivated to do anything sorry. On the verge of quitting really. No passion to draw anymore. It's gone. :I

Trying to find a coloring style. But it's not working out. If I don't find anything I'm just gonna give up. Nothing is working.
It's hard finding a color style that complements my line art. Really hard.
Then the fact I suck at digital coloring. It's so dark. I like it being dark but then it kills either the mood or the details I put into the line art. But if I make it lighter it's too light. Maybe I create characters with too much dark colors. Or maybe I just am horrible at coloring in general. lol
Also it seems I accidentally deleted the highlight layer. Whoops lol.

I made my own brush that looks pencil-ish. Works like one too. Hard to use though. Very hard. Like a pencil I have to color over and over the same area to make it smoother. But I'm used to that so I'm okay with that.

Just very eh about this picture.

Playing around with things out of my comfort, complicated poses, and side views. I know her head is too big and will fix that whenever I decide to ink and color this. If I ever do. :U

I enjoy drawing hair too much. xD

And yes, she's using nature here instead of her other element that she doesn't want/need. :U

Also while drawing this I simplified her design, sort of. Slowly I am.
