What has Daisy done this time you ask? She's hurt Mario that what.
Daisy accidently gave Mario a poisonous fire flower from her homeland as a token of thanks for rescuing her. Mario took the flower and headed home.
After that, nobody has heard from Mario in two weeks. Luigi was able to find his brother in a warp pipe between World 5 and World 6. Let's say that Mario has seen better days. Mario's hand was the flower that Daisy gave him. Luigi took Mario to the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital.
Princess Peach, Bowser and others showed up to see how Mario's looking. Peach wasn't happy about this.
She asked Luigi to show her the flower that Mario had. Luigi complied with the request. The second she saw that flower, she knew who's responsible for this.
