Finally she has a face D;. I’ve procrastinated on this so bad. This is Hutaru. She’s an antagonist to Rykeer, in his earlier life anyway. She’s a noble woman and a Master of the Baji-Quan style. She’s an easily agitated woman and generally just bored with her life as noble woman. She’s very independent and has a deep love for martial arts. If given the choice she probably would have happily lived her life solely dedicated to it, training others. But she ended up being betrothed to a noble man, as female martial arts masters are highly sought after especially one as pretty as she was. She was no longer able to train people freely, but at a very high price meaning she’d be stuck training stuffy nobles. But luckily her husband is a bit of a softy ( probably needless to say but she wears the pants in the marriage) and she was able to convince him to turn their estate into militant slave training center. She trained Rykeer in the style as well as other slaves on her estate. She took a particularly special interest in Rykeer however, who exhibited great skill and intellect. She taught him many more advanced techniques and allowed him to nurture his lust for knowledge by allowing him to read books but it was at the cost of his dignity. Rykeer lived on Hutaru’s estate as a slave for over 12 years until he escaped.
