I apologize for saying, as I can see better than I can do, But that shadow from the nose is not good.The rest is high quality. But that shadow ain'tnna work.

you have amazing attention to detail in all of your work
im not sure why you're against making up parts (like her hair) though
art is about your own artistic creative expression, not just replicating an image or scene in a different medium
it seems like that is the only area you could use growth in
all you need to do is implement your talent creatively to express ideas and imagery that come from you
using reference material always helps
but true creativity comes from within, and inspiration comes from around you
you don't need to worry about becoming a creative genius over night though, you already have so much raw talent to work with
i'm 23 years old and am an art major in college, but doubt i could draw quite this photo realistically
and i still struggle with creativity, so don't worry too much about it, it's just something to think about, not to stress over
true creativity comes from a calm and peaceful place, you can't force it
meditation and yoga help a lot, or even a simple walk in the park
anyways just something to think about

I know, in these type of drawings i'm mainly just reproducing the image. but i also do creative stuff, too! i just put these portraits up on deviantart.
