"The Seventh Precinct.Β Its Gate is a line of fire that stretches across the river."Although 'fire' is obviously orange, yellow and red tones I still imagine it to be a white hot substance like that of gas flames on a stove top.

White fire works better for the feel of the place (and fits with the rest of your series)

I imagined it being orange (more on the red side, actually) but I like this version much more. It fits, and is very dangerously beautiful.

I like how you've tied in the fire theme to that of the other gates with the blues and whites, I think this fire colour scheme works better than the orange flame that most would think of.
