by just not painting the skin, only ever paint the shadow tones. and thankyou!

Oooh lovely!!! Is this a stand alone piece or part of your uni stuff? How did that go by the way? Are you all finished now? I'm all done with exams and stuff, now just have to stick around til graduation (not that I'm entirely sure why I'm graduating as I'll still be here for another three years yet...)

completely stand alone, just something I felt like painting.
It went well thankyou, I got all of my work finished, now its a wait till the results and the graduation in october or november. ahh your exams, how did they go?!

Stunning! I love the muted greys and browns. So subtly beutiful. i also love the loose paint strokes and especially the paint spalts at the botte. It caught my eye imediatly.
