The Titania control module is embedded within the synth-steel helmet worn by the brainwashed operative, referred herein as Blanks. The chipset is embedded at the top of the cervical, where the spine meets the skull. From the chip spread a liquid nanite rubber that seeps into the scalp and covers the face of the Blank. Within the liquid lies a vast array of micro-syringes that secrete smart material into the cranium of the Blank. Once the material is injected, it rests within the creases of the brain and allows the Titania module to control the firing of neurons directly.

Once control is gained, the Titania module begins to control all elements of the brain. Subconscious elements like breathing and circulation of blood are carefully managed for maximum efficiency as the consciousness of the Blank is guided through a controlled deep dream resembling their everyday life. Through the use of memory data reading, the construct of reality created is indistinguishable from the truth. Individuals within the brain act as the Blank believed them to be. The consciousness and perception of the Blank is used to construct a seamless illusion. During this process, confidential information is gleamed through the construction of obstacles to be overcome by the dream-self of the Blank. The daily routine of a corporate drone can often provide information like log-in credentials, security measure placement, and coworker names. Vital project information can be obtained with these phished credentials later.

Once all mission critical data is obtained, the Blank’s mind is kept within their dream through a series of procedurally generated scenes revolving around their daily life. As the life of a corporate drone is generally monotonous, it is rare for the captive to ever realize they are dreaming. If suspicion is detected, countermeasures are deployed in the form of ‘surprise’ scenes where unexpected occurrences happen. So far, the rate of unintended awakening within Titania’s dreams is below .005%.
The Oberon control module is located within the collar casing around the Blank’s neck. Once connected to the rubberized suit, the module will spread wiring within the material along the nervous system of the Blank. Once the entire nervous system is mapped, micro-syringes deploy conductive smart-material to allow full muscle control by Oberon. Once control is established, the module can utilize the Blank’s body for whatever need the mission requires.

While the bodysuit’s muscle accelerators allow for increased strength and durability, the controlled Blank has many of the same limitations as the wearer. As such, the unit is not often used in direct combat. However, due to their increased physical attributes and preloaded knowledge of self-defense, a Blank can still subdue a human opponent in seconds. The combat data provided for the Oberon module is collected in real-time by optical sensors laced throughout the greater MirageCorp International drone network.

Information related to the role the Blank is to assume is loaded onto the control collar before application. The most common role of a Blank is infiltration, reconnaissance, and counterintelligence operations. The standard equipment outfitted to such units include an integrated wireless communication device located within the right gauntlet, noise-dampening footwear, optical camouflage, and an integrally silenced handgun capable of firing lethal and non-lethal payloads at an effective range of fifty meters.

Secondary roles include field doctors, mechanics, and servants. These units are most commonly distinguished by the color of the identification lights within the suit and the IFF tag embedded within the status module strapped to their beltline.

Footnote:
Upon mission completion, the TAOs in use are collected by the Operation Leader. Once removed, the wearer will regain full motor and cognitive function within twenty-four hours. They will have no recollection of their time as a Blank, only able to recount their time within Titania’s dream as reality.
